Here’s a video demo of how to change the design of your website.
For this WordPress theme gives you the option of adding a dramatic “featured image” that can be different for each page, blog post, or event.
To add, change, or remove the featured image, go to the sidebar on the right hand side of the editor and click on the Featured Image tab. (Note if the sidebar is hidden, click on the gear icon at the top of the page to display it).

You can also select between a few different page templates.

With the default template, the featured image is displayed like this.

The cover template looks like this.

If no featured image is provided and the default template is selected you get this.

This is one of the themes that allows you to change the main menu and several other options with the WordPress theme Customizer. To open this tool, click Customize on the black menu bar that appears at the top of the screen when you are logged in as a site administrator.

When you click Customize, a menu of options appears side-by-side with a preview of your website where you will be able to see changes take effect. For example, the Colors tab allows you to change the background color of your pages. Background Image allows you to specify an image instead. Site Identity is for changing the site title and tagline. The Widgets tab lets you add or edit the content blocks that appear in the footer of the website.

Edit the Main Menu (Customizer Method)
To add a page to the main menu, click on Menus and then Primary Menu.

To add an item, scroll through the list of pages and click on the + sign to add one to the end of the menu. You can also type in the title of a new page and click Add to add a new (blank) page that you can fill in later. Or you can add custom links, blog posts, or blog categories that you want to provide easy access to.
Drag and drop menu items up and down the list to change the menu order. You can also create a submenu (drop-down menu) by indenting one or more items under another. In the example above, Club Rules would appear under Members.
Featured Image Display
This design (WordPress theme) allows you to have a different featured image at the top of each page or post. That’s a difference in emphasis from themes that use a standard header image at the top of every document.
To change the default one shown above in the WordPress editor, go to the Featured Image section of the Page properties sidebar as shown here.
